Nar Phu Valley Trek is an amazingly explorative trekking trail in the Annapurna Region of Nepal, whose trekking route passes through the wilderness in the backyard of the high Himalayas. The Nar Phu region is one of the most unfrequented and unexplored trails in the Annapurna Region of Nepal. The trekking trail passes through wandering terrains and challenging paths beyond the high mountains, which also cover the religious and cultural sites as well as interaction with innocent local villagers in Nar and Phu. This is the region that is recently known and has been untouched by modernization where you can find the true meaning of life that the people living in this region are so heavenly touched with the spiritual world of nature. This place is populated by the Buddhist people with around 400 permanent residents acquiring their livelihood by herding yak, and trading wool and hides to other villages located in the lower region of Manang. This trek offers the sightseeing of the great monastery Tashi Lhakhang Monastery listed out of 108 world great Buddhist monasteries. The Panoramic view captures the magnificent Annapurna 8,091m-26545ft, Himlung Himal 7126m-23379ft, Manaslu 8,163m-26781ft, and Dhaulagiri 8,167m-26794ft.

The 11-Day Nar Phu Valley Trek starts from Besisahar – the starting point of Annapurna Circuit or drives up to Koto where you can start your trek. The trekking trail passes through the rugged mountainous route of Meta and Kyang which gives you the experience of the real Nepal, which opens up to the valley from where you can be surrounded by the Annapurna, Manaslu, and Dhaulagiri making you speechless. It covers the Tibetian Chortens, colorful prayer, and stones which are followed by the canyons and gorges. You will get to experience the ancient village culture and hang out with the villagers of Phu. You can enjoy the magnificent panorama of Annapurna massifs. The great Tashi Lakhang Monastery is listed as the world’s greatest Buddhist monastery and also provides the best attraction site for your trek. The Nar Village is covered with Stupas, Gompas, and monasteries. The tall stone Tower and Barricade of thick wooden doors hold the ancient story of the Tibetian people who migrated from Tibet long before. The stone lookout Tower was used to visualize the possible invaders in all directions and the barricade of thick wooden doors was used to secure the residents inside. The Nar Village is situated on plain land which gives the residents a plus point for agriculture. The villages of Bhote, Tibetian culture, the view of stunning mountain ranges, and the great gift of nature are the main aspects of enjoying mountainous scenarios.

Moreover, trekking in this valley lets you feel so close to nature, Tibetian culture, the lifestyle of Bhote- the ancient followers of Buddhism, the untouched valley of Nar Phu, rugged mountainous trials, the Kang La pass 5,306m-17408ft, and Phu passes connecting the trials to Ngawal reaching the valley of Manang. Similarly, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna, Manaslu, and Dhaulagiri. Besides, the trail passes through the deep valleys of Nar and Phu Gaon occupied by Bhote with the mystic art of Tibetan culture and tradition. You can experience the unexplored part of Natural Nepal filled with the scenic beauty of nature as heaven itself seems jealous of the natural beauty of this region. The stone sculpture holds the history of the Tibetian people living in those areas, from Tibetian natives to immigrants of Nepal holding and preserving the beauty and tradition of Nepal. The people living were migrated from Tibet so long time ago. Here lies the Stone watchtower, the barricade of wooden logs and stone pillars, monasteries that are counted as the great monasteries of the world by Buddhists. You can have a lifetime memory of this fantastic journey with the amazing view of mountains, the Tibetan culture plateau, and rugged mountain trekking trails in the amazing area of the Annapurna region.

Nevertheless, the Nar Phu Valley trek boosts up your energy with every passing minute as it bears a heavenly scenario with the constant panoramic view of snow-capped mountains, ancient monasteries, the culture of the Tibetan plateau, and the world’s rarest wilderness, herds of blue sheep, and one of the highest passes Kang la pass(5306m-17408ft) and Mesokanto-La (5200m-17060ft).
